| How does it
work? |

It converts energy from light into electric power, stores
it until needed, and then provides the power to the application.
It uses a photodiode semiconductor chip to generate electric
power from sunlight, or from incandescent light bulbs.
When the light shines on the chip, the chip provides immediate
voltage and electric current. The chip also controls the
power provided to a battery for later use at a later time
by the application. |

key factors influence solar energy application performance? |

- The source of photovoltaics
We use solar energy to make electricity. The process
is called photovoltaics. If you have a solar-powered
watch or calculator, youˇ¦re using photovoltaics! The
source of photovoltaics normally converts from sunlight
or incandescent light bulbs. Sunlight has higher efficiency
in photovoltaic conversion than incandescent light
bulbs.
- Size of solar electric panel
Solar electric panel is a media, which absorb energy,
convert it to be electricity.
The duration of power accumulation is affected by
the size of solar electric panel. Smaller size, longer
accumulation, contrariwise.
- Battery Capacity
Electric power has to be storage in a battery for
later use by the application. The total maximum charge,
expressed in ampere-hours, that can be withdrawn from
a cell or battery under a specific set of operating
conditions including discharge rate, temperature,
initial state of charge, age, and cut-off voltage.
